Web Updates + Facebook Page |
|
Monday, 31 December 2007 |
|
I have updated the wmpenn.org site with a new look and updated software. The new design is most noticeable, but the backend upgrades will be crucial in keeping this site up to date in the future. Past challenges with certain aspects of the site made it difficult to keep the site up to date, we lost our pictures, and the module that registers users wasn't working properly to let anyone know that pending user requests were waiting. All of these issues have been resolved (I hope) with these upgrades. I created a Facebook Page for the society using Facebook.com's new "pages" feature. This is where we will keep our photos from now on, I have uploaded all the previously lost photos to this new site. This page will also allow actives to post events and carry on online discussions. You can access this page by clicking the "Facebook + Photos" link at the top of this page. If you are still experiencing problems with the site or have other feedback for me please email me using the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page.
Sincerely,
Patrick Holmes
