In addition, Cpt. Ean White, stationed at Ft. Irwin Army Base in California, is another Penn alum serving in today's armed forces.

ImageCecelia Fortner wanted to pass on this message to everyone here at home:

"Hey guys. Not sure if you are all in contact with Max or not, so I thought I'd send out an update. He's doing really well. He's made it to his duty station safely. He's told me some interesting stories about the terrible sleeping conditions, his PT (Physical Training) gear getting stolen when he was taking a shower, and some other fun ones. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers. It's good to know that he has brothers that are thinking about him and friends that care. I'll pass on the kind messages."

We hope that he and the rest of our soldiers make it home safe, and soon.
